Of course I'm referring to the totally un-informed Michael Felger who is always quick to make up his own hype to try to create a super-controversy with the hope of sending it "viral."
Jones is now constantly bringing up the total falsehood that Brady doesn't like Jimmy. (I'm there at the interviews and know the truth. Jones, as well as Felger, is not. They DO like each other and Brady takes every opportunity to help Jimmy the same way Bledsoe helped him. That's right. Another Felger lie exposed. Look at the very ending of the Pats first super bowl win...Bledsoe was the very first guy Brady rushed to hug. Why don't they ask BRADY if Bledsoe elped him?
Brady is known as a super team player and whatever is good for the team is Brady's #1 goal. ALSO...because it's never brought up I feel compelled to remind everybody....Brady was brought up in a very Christian household and it's against his nature to be anything but a good Christian Gentleman. (look up his upbringing and parents' background).
The other Adam Jones moronic argument is about the huge poster of Brady in the end zone. Jones is trying to convince everybody that it's a "slam" to Garoppolo and is there to butter up #12.
Jones exclaims, "How can that do anything but hurt Garoppolo's who's trying to LEAD the team. It's just not "fair??" to him.
Can you believe it?? Jones is trying to sell the idea that Garoppolo is fighting to take over the starting quarterback job?? Wake up Adam...Garoppolo is a BACKUP to Brady and he knows it. Even if the Pats go 4-0 when Brady comes back Garoppolo will still return to the bench.
NOTE:---I still pick the Pats to go 3-1 (maybe even 4-0) but most of the credit will go to the defense. ALSO, I would not be shocked to see Garoppolo traded (if the right deal comes along) because I feel the third string quarterback (Jacoby Brissette) has a much better "upside."
Another "crop of bull" Jones is putting out there is his very own interpretation of the meaning of a quote by Garoppolo who said practice became less complicated now that Brady is not there.
Jones twisted this to mean that Brady was a hindrance to practices and he was glad Brady was gone. PLEASE NOTE---Jones (and nobody else) bothered to ask Garoppolo for clarification. If they had, as I did, they would have found out that Jimmy just meant that the media wouldn't constantly be jumping all over Belicheck's decision to give Brady snaps that THEY felt should have gone to Garoppolo??? Can you imagine the audacity of Jones AND the media constantly trying to criticize a coach who has won FOUR super bowl titles and is headed for the hall of fame?????
When they asked Belichick to comment on Garoppolo's comment the coach simply said, That's his opinion and I'm certainly not going to criticize HIS opinion. NOW, the story is that, once again, Belichick refuses to answer the media's question. GOD have mercy.
MY SOLUTION....get rid of these know nothing media types and get some former football players who have some ideas of what is important information the fans would/should like to know.
A perfect point would be talking about TWO great trades Belichick just made that will make a world of difference to the Patriots success....FIRST...linebacker Barkevious Mingo. This guy was a very high FIRST ROUND pick by Cleveland. ALL the sports talk shows should be talking about him. He's already shown a flair for ALWAYS being around the ball and making big plays. You'll see.....
SECOND....,.cornerback/safety Eric Rowe. Belichick got him from the Eagles for a fourth round pick. He'll start out in the nickle and dime packages but I'm betting he'll be a starter once he gets down the Patriots "language' and schemes...REMEMBER....you heard it here...Stay tuned.....
